STAND BALL

To make a field for Stand - Ballfollowing materials will be required.

1. Backed bricks of size 1" to 2" inches and wet mud of about 2500 cu. Feet.

2. Clay of 1500 cu. Feet (approx.)

With the above materials, a circular field of 10 meter can be constructed for the stand ball. This should be the

natural field and should be left as a restricted area. This area is strictly prohibited for the other games.

First of all, the whole field is to cleaned by digging around about 6" (6 Inches) after that one layer of 3"

bricks should be levelled equally and sprinkles water over it and pressed by the roller properly, after this

again another layer of 3" bricks should be arranged in layer over it and heavy roller should be driven after

sprinkling water as before. When this 6" (6 Inches) layer of bricks is levelled properly, then it should be

plastered properly with clay; before applying it with clay, it should be properly sieved and make like a dough

with some water. While making dough a small amount of sand (after sieving) can be in it. In this way it can

stick and plaster the ground better. Plastering with clay should be about normal breadth. If the field for the

Stand -Ball is made with the mixture of Concrete and Coal-tar, then it will be better and can be played in it in

rainy-season also. Apart from this there will be no special requirements to look after it for many years.

Although for making such Stand-Ball field, expenses will be more.

This is a fast-game and the field on which this is to be played, is a hard circular field. Hence there should be

nograss over the field. Grass makes the ground slippery GAME: and it hampers the game too. 5 cm border-

line start box, free throw area etc should bethe same field, marked properly in this circular field. It will be

better if one more line is drawn of 2.5m away from the border line. So that the spectators (दर्शक) cannot sit

inside this area and it will be a sort of undisturbed area. Stand of the Stand -Ball will be just in the middle

part of the field with 5m of circumference. This area will be undisturbed and natural. And the border line of

this circle should be of 15cm width. So that it can be seen clearly by the players and the referee during the

game. This natural line should be of 5cm and in two parts.

STAND NET: - Stand-net will be made with net of white rope which will be attached-hanging to the circular

iron rod of 60cm diameter. The rod of this boundary will be 25mm diameter and it should be attached in such

a way that the net should be hanged easily. The net should be hanged below up to 50cm. There should be 40-

70square holes woven with white-thread in the net.On the top of that iron-stand the net-ring should be

attached with strong clamp so that it will not move.

DEFINITION AND REQUIREMENT OF THIS GAME: -

Stand-Ball seems to be a normal game as other, but in be the same field, the decision to win or lose at atime

makes if it full of struggle and thus new type of game. This gamecan be played by players of any agegroup.

Of course, if Hidayat Ali 12 the girls and boys are of less than 15 years than the restricted area can be

reduced from 5cm to 4cm so that it will be easier and comfortable for them to score a stand.

According to the rules of the game, some circumstances can arise on which the result of the game depends

(decision of winning and losing by one of the team). In order to avoid this situations, players should play with

clear and proper understanding. By this the player can develop understanding and spirit to play a nice and

fairgame also.Each team will expect that during the match (game) the ball remains with players of their

team and their team the ball in the stand for the maximum number of times but opponents will not allow

them to do so. And this will create the situation to struggle and if they break the rule of the games at this

situation, then it will be a loss for that particular team. Hence at this situation both the team will

try to avoid playing a foul game (or break the rule) and in this way the outcome of the game played will be

naturaland fair. Hence, it is expected that a player will try to do less foul and struggle hard to win. And such

struggle will be clean fair and prove played under sporty spirit.

OUTLINE OF A PLAYGROUND: -

The ground for the Stand-Ball is surrounded by circulararea of 15m. In this circular area, the stand line in the

thecenter most point and surrounded by 5m circular area.This restricted area is totally prohibited for the

game. This area utilized according to the rule. The circular-line around this area should be of 15cm width, so

that it canbe seen clearly by the players and one of the three corners(3) area of 60cm in 120° in as triangle is

fixed for the free Stand Ball throw. After the restricted circular area, there will be 10m ground to play. As

given in the diagram from the three place of circumference of circle of the playground, a semi-circle of 60cm

is drawn, which is called START BOX. According to the line diagram of the playground, another

semicircle of 1.5cm is drawn, from the center of the start box, just opposite to it. This portion is used only at

thetime of starting of game and players of both the team will be standing out of the field.

STAND: -The stand lies exactly at the center of the field inside the circular area of 5cm circumference. There

will be a pole of wooden log or can be made of leaving aside the portion of the pole inside the ground, the

upper partabove the ground will be of 1.05m height. On just top of the pole at 5cm, there will be a stand of

50cm in whichthe ball will be thrown (inside).

NET: - The net of the Stand-Ball will be attached to circular iron rod of diameter 60cm in hanging position

and net should be hanged 50cm downward. The squares of the net should be 5cm*5cm and hanged, part of

the net areshould be so attached that the ball in the stand should not come out. The diameter of the iron rod

should be of20mm.

BALL: -The ball should be made of leather which is not too hard or it can be of rubber also. The

circumference of the ball should not be more than 75cm. The weight of the ball should between 600gm to

625gm. Le black w white and the air inside should be such that it c bounced properly according to the

hardness of o ground.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: - There will be 12 players, 7 players will be in the field together and 5 players will

outside as substitute.

UNIFORM OF PLAYERS: - Each player of the team will wear dark colored jersey or shirt and half pant or

nickers of the same colour. Jersey of each player will have numbers printed on it back of 15cm at the back of

jersey and of 5cm on front in right side. It is necessary wear P.T.shoes or shoes made of soft leather.

DURATION OF GAME: - Complete duration of the game will be of 40 minutes, compressive of two halves to

20-20 minutes each. There will a break of 10 minutes in between. In any situation the duration of the game

should and bin not be less than the stipulated time.
